Poety: Let Me Live
Barred by self-limitations
Crowded by cares
Settling for
Comfort zones
Watching at a distance
I heard a voice softly speak, “Let me live”
Wishing
Empty
Daydreaming
Folding to challenges
The path of least resistance
The voice whispered again, “Let me live”
“Who are you?” I asked
“Faith,” the voice responded
“Live,” I answered
Turning stumbling blocks into stepping stones
Casting cares
Tenacity
Dancing on the edge
Touching
“Live!” I screamed
Vision
Overflowing
Purpose
Warrior
Running for the road less traveled
Living
