A Lesson to Live By

One day I saw a glass full of dirt. The owner poured the dirt out and filled the glass with water. The water was soiled and no one was able to drink it. The owner emptied and washed the glass refilling it with water. The water was clean and refreshing. I thought about the lives of people who refuse to forgive. Making everything they put into their lives soiled. Molecules of crippling pain, depression and diseases float around within them making their lives ineffective. Clinging to and reliving episodes of their past, waiting for compensation so they can finally live. Waiting, they want to be freed by someone else, when they already possess the power to be free.

I forgive you…freedom and healing begins.
