Discussion: Decisions… To Destiny or Away From Destiny!

November 27, 2020

If I could turn back the hand of time. If I could do life over again, what picture would my world present? Every decision we make opens a door in our world, even the minor ones. A decision stemming from what we believe is the right choice. From the choice we determine the path we need to select, something we desire to go on. Where we are in life, we have based on a choice. To step away from a particular place or condition is a choice and to continue is a choice.

What we do when something doesn’t turn out is blame someone/others for where we are in life. I consider of when someone leaves home needing to go out on their own, finally. Conversation is now I can live the way I prefer to live. Only to stare backward ten (10) or twenty (20) years still seeking the better life they assumed they would have on their own. What was our focal point in our decision making? What has our choices costed us as we look back or go forward? Is regret a place we maintain while we still blaming someone why we can’t proceed forward?

What decision (s) have you made knowing it brought you into your destiny or moved you away from your destiny? People have thrown their life away because it banged them up along the way. I have pointed out in separate discussions; getting money (millionaires and billionaires) doesn’t mean the individual is walking in their true destiny. The suicides in this community of wealth have showed to be true.

Thinking as we advance towards the New Year, 35 days (5 weeks) from today what are we seeing? We have to establish current decisions with information we never imagined now, apart from our life’s equation. The system is still swaying and shaking, tossing us from side to side for the previous 8 months. It's like we have been in a small boat in a dangerous storm. Everyone for a period was in the same boat. Yet there are those surviving with experiences they received along life’s pathway. Others frantically are struggling not to drown. Understanding what has taken place in the past doesn’t matter now. Life over the recent months has allowed us no time to ponder in the past tense. We must concentrate on what’s current and future of how we will strengthen our lives as we rebuild.

Being informed while looking forward has become a mandate; in order to proceed forward in wisdom. It’s vital we set aside the weights we have been bearing. I recall when I had cataracts removed from my eyes and for two (2) weeks the doctor’s instruction was not to pick up a weight over five (5) pounds. A weight we don’t even realize as being heavy, but with this surgery it could affect me substantially physically. As we go forward, it’s essential not to pick up and carry certain amounts of weight, because it will influence your vision. My ophthalmologist told me she could look into my eyes and see I wasn’t drinking enough water. She pointed out how water keeps your eyes hydrated and flushes out toxins. WOW! Water will wash away the residue of irritations of the eyes, keeping us seeing clearly.

I believe the season we are in has propelled many to understand what is past is absolutely past. Standing in the present-day looking forward, even in the previous state many saw they gained survival techniques. With a sigh of relief, we must live more intentionally. The recent months have been a “Forward March” for the entire world. Yet, there are still too many champions sleeping with their past!
