Discussion: The Dream Killer Is On the Loose

The Dream Killer is on a rampage and I encourage you to remain firm. Don’t run, don’t even fight. Look the Dream Killer in the eye and turn your head slowly toward your dream and declare “I can and will go on, I will hold on tight”. Many are already envisioning the New Year (less than a month away) what they will or will not do based on, what? Normally people enter December making resolutions. I came to the realization a long time ago that a resolution is only wishes. I consider what we need to be making are decisions, which I expect will bring us beyond January for the New Year.
Let me reiterate: what I started this conversation with is, The Dream Killer is on a rampage and I encourage you to remain strong. This particular stage we are witnessing is one of the most notorious one of our time. This one has stolen family legacies and has stopped inspired business proprietors in their track. Ones, who ultimately saved enough to open or build their dream company, store, or purchase their dream home at last. The amount in their savings account said… Go, or the Bank said… Yes! Family members had to eventually quit talking about banding together on one accord to make it take place. A Dream Killer of such proportion, we couldn’t even begin fathom it in our minds. We watch the news like a science-fiction miniseries that has been going on for months.
I have tried to figure this out in my mind, as I view the world around me conform to our present state. My thoughts continue to take me back to the word ‘foundation’. I am not speaking about the ground or substances applied to build. Not even the blueprint that is on paper. I mean the origin of the decision, which extended from a thought to a blueprint. What was in your mind transitioned to your heart that then led you to put it down on paper? What did you mind’s eye witness when your eyes were closed that met your heart to form a vision? What has you up at midnight or that you had gird your soul from this Dream Killer?
Foundation! I realize I asked several questions. But what has often led someone to lose everything and rebuild? People who have moved through bankruptcy persevere and move forward to determine to see what will develop out of the ashes. Documentaries, books and movies telling how they prevailed through failures as they reveal what remained firm as they swayed, but yet stood.
As I further examine why others stand and others walk away, I believe it the principle within. Actually, it is in all of us from our creation. We were formed with it and it’s not based on if you believe in God or if you don’t accept God. It doesn’t matter if you are good or evil, we all have it. It’s a thing inside we can’t describe, but we all have it. Let’s listen in on the conversation before the creation of humanity.
The Conversation: God said, “Let us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make humanity in Our image, after Our likeness. And let them have complete authority over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, the beasts, and over all the earth, and over everything that creeps upon the earth.
The Creation: So God created man in His own image, in the image and likeness of God He created him; male and female He created them.
The Promise: And God blessed them and said to them, “Be fruitful, multiply, and fill the earth, and subdue it [using all its vast resources in the service of God and man]; and have dominion over the fish of the sea, the birds of the air, and over every living creature that moves upon the earth.
Summary: God said, “Let Us [Father, Son, and Holy Spirit] make humanity in Our image, after Our likeness…
To Make: Create or Form
Our (God) image: A visual representation
After Our likeness: The fact or quality of being alike
Let them Rule: Control of or Dominion over, complete authority
To succeed, is in every human being, whether we use it or not. We are the image and likeness of God… forever as long as humans exist. This is our ‘foundation’ of what placed inside of us. The physical body is a race to carry out God’s plan of a world that when he looked at us moving on the Earth, it would be a mirror he was looking into… seeing himself.
So, let’s take a deep breath and remember who we are and whose we are, from now on. We were born for such a time as this. What we are facing we have the answers within us as the image and likeness of our Creator. This Dream Killer didn’t catch God by surprise, why are we surprised? It’s time for us to STAND as rightful ownership of the Earth and allow the answers for this season to manifest in the earth. I believe this bought many of us out of the church (building). We weren’t being the salt of the earth as much as we needed to be. Too many lights were hiding in a physical structure. Psalms 115:16 says, the heavens belong to our God; they are his alone, but he has given us the earth and put us in charge. It is time we possess the land!
